Sa dami nang ginagawa ng mga guro, kasama ang araw araw na paggawa ng Daily Lesson Plan, pagtuturo, paggawa ng examinations, checking at marami pang ibang bagay. Nandyan pa ang maging ama at ina, nurse, doctor para sa mga bata. Kaya napapanahon na ngang dagdagan ang sahod ng mga guro. Now, President Rodrigo Roa Dutererte nasabi nya sa kanyang speech na isasama na ang pagtaas ng sahod nang guro sa Salary Standarization Law (SSL) last July 22, 2019 in its State of the Nation Address (SONA). Pero sapat kaya ang halagang itataas ng sahod? Marahil kung ikaw ay isang guro ikaw ay magiging masaya na kahit papaano. Pero marami pang ang dapat bigyan pansin sa pangangailangan ng isang guro upang maging mabisa sa pagtuturo. 1.) Teachers should be entitled for free annual eye, medical and dental check up. 2.)Aside sa Chalk allowance dapat meron ring Laptop allowance for every three years. 3)Dapat bumuo provident fund, na magsisilbing pautangan ng mga guro at magiging additional savings. 4)gawing malinaw ang 6 hours na oras na trabaho ng teacher. 5)Bigyan ng faculty room na may sapat at maayos. 6)Bigyan ng health card na exclusibo lamang sa guro at mga kapamilya nito. 7)Gumawa nang bagong ahensya na papalit sa GSIS, na tututok sa pangangailang seguridad ng mga guro at pamilya. 8)Maging malinaw ang paraan kung paano mapropromote ang isang guro, kagaya ng edukasyon skills at training. 9) gumawa ng bagong posisyon mula Teacher 1 to Teacher 7, upang maalis ang agwat ng teacher 3 to Master teacher 1 10)bukod sa Curriculum Guide (CG) at Teachers Guide (TG) dapat buo na ang DLL/DLP na ibibigay ng Division sa mga guro bago ang simula ng school year. Pangarap lang ito para sa isang guro, pero ang pinaka pangarap nya maging mahusay na mamamayan ang mga bata sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon.

There is so much for teachers to do, including doing the Daily Lesson Plan, teaching, doing examinations, checking and much more. There is still more to be father and mother, nurse, doctor for children. So it's time to increase teachers' salaries. President Rodrigo Roa Dutererte said in his speech that the salaries of teachers will be included in the Salary Standarization Law (SSL) last July 22, 2019 in its State of the Nation Address (SONA). But is the wage increase enough? Maybe if you were a teacher you would be happy somehow. But there is much more that needs to be paid attention to a teacher's need to be effective in teaching. 1.) Teachers should be entitled for free annual eye, medical and dental check up. 2.) Aside from Chalk allowance there should be a Laptop allowance for every three years. 3) Provide a provident fund, which will serve as a reward for teachers and additional savings. 4) Make the teacher's 6 hours of work clear. 5) Provide adequate faculty room. 6) Give a health card exclusive to the teacher and his or her family members. 7) Create a new agency to replace GSIS, focusing on the security needs of teachers and families. 8) Be clear about how a teacher can be promoted, such as education skills and training. 9) create a new position from Teacher 1 to Teacher 7, to eliminate the gap of teacher 3 to Master teacher 1 10) In addition to the Curriculum Guide (CG) and Teachers Guide (TG) the DLL / DLP must be fully provided by the Division to teachers before the beginning of the school year. This is just a dream for a teacher, but his greatest dream is to make children better citizens through education.

DAPAT MAY SWELDO DIN ANG MGA STUDYANTE

Hahaha...,,, dapat bang may sweldo ang mga bata? Ako po si teacher Xian, Senior High school teacher. kita ko ang hirap nang mga bata sa mga projects, requirements, research, performance at iba-iba pang mga activitist. Mukhang suko na si nene at totoy sa gawain? Pero ang sabi nila, kinakaya. Time management ang susi daw!!! sabagay wala naman pinakamabuting gawin kundi gawin ang dapat gawin.(kalito). habol dito habol doon, paki-usap dito paki-usap doon. Mamaya sasayaw doon(cheerfully), mamaya iiyak sa dula dulaan,nakikipag-away na sa debate. huuuu....roller coaster ang pakiramdam iba iba. paano kaya sa pag uwi sa bahay? Ulit, pagpasok sa School 7:00 dapat in ka na kung hindi may parusa ka sa SSG... empleyado 8:00 time in Pag-uwi 4:30 pagod na sya o sila .... empleyado 5:00 time out May mga bata na kung minsan, kaya ng maghanap buhay ay tumitigil na sa pag-aaral. (doon naman daw kasi papunta) May mga bata na nag-aabsent, kasi naman daw napapagod na. (pagod na sa kahihitay sa crush nya na sagutin sya) palitan kaya natin yung term na baon as SWELDO, reward sa paghihirap nila, di narin siguro sila maghahanap ng hanap buhay. Seriously bakit d na lang bigyan ng sweldo ang mga bata, mas galing sa magulang at galing sa government . pwede kaya yun????

Change Career from Banking to Teaching

Im already eight years in banking industry, with this eight years of experience I ask myself repeatedly "where i am now"?.

Well in my case I know what is the answer, I just put my self in comfort zone, a break even situation whereas my salary is just a compensation to the everday expenses. No savings, no investment.

Hard time to think, the last card I have is to make decision, i will be a risk taker, or be quiet in the rest of my career.

I am a BSBA Management Accounting Major graduate, Civil Service professional eligible, A License Professional Teacher, A Certified Bookkeeper with TESDA NCIII. 

I became a Accounting clerk in a savings Bank, Bank Teller at Allied/PNB, Currently Accounting staff at Development Bank of the Philippines.

Some ask me are you not satisfy with your work? of course not, I very satisfy, i love my work and i enjoy it. Then why you make the decision to pursue a teaching career?

There are so many things i put into consideration a comparison.

FIRST Salary 

Bank: currently i receive a gross of 15,500.00 takenote its a government bank, well if you compare it to other bank I will assure you it is well compensated plus those benefits but it not so far from my previous employer. The only advantage is that you have a security of tenure. A provident fund in percentage of my gross. 

DEPED: Teacher I salary, according to salary standardization law will receive salary grade 11 equivalent to P19,620.00.

WORK LOAD:

BANK: do you think our work ends at 3:30 or 4:00 pm, well in my part is just start of our real job. . Hardwork, pressure and stress. This things are common, i can handle it, but will you take it for rest of your career.

DEPED: As a  general rule, provided by law a teachers can only work at least 6 hours a day.
